Tropical Present (Japanese: トロピカルプレゼント Tropical Present) is a Special Card. It was released as a promotional card in Japan only.

This special card has been sent to players to obtain 10 GET Points. (Points are added automatically)

Release information

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was released by MediaFactory from January 1st to June 1999 and sent to members of the Pokémon Fan Club who had already earned 100 "GET Points". Those who were sent the card were awarded 10 GET Points that counted towards the coveted Eevee and Porygon prize cards. The card was reprinted with artwork taken from the "Sea" scene of the Southern Islands collection by Naoyo Kimura in July 1999. It was later reprinted again on e-card stock with new artwork by Hiromi Ito. This version was sent out from January 1st 2001 to those who had already earned 200 GET Points or more. The card was never released in English.

  • This card features "Special Card" instead of "Trainer" at the top.
  • The card features the Pokémon Fan Club logo in place of an Expansion symbol. The logo replaces the "e" on the e-card reprint.
  • The e-card reprint has "2001/Summer" where there is usually a collection number.
  • All versions of this card were released as a Jumbo card and therefore not legal to use in tournaments or official events.
