Unique typing

It's too early to say Electric/Flying is unique to Emonga, as other Pokémon may have it. For all we know, they could decide to give Shimama a flying Pegasus for an evolution (joke). --Element03 05:45, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

It can always be changed if another Pokémon is revealed to have it. --Psyライダー 05:46, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

Zapdos Lokitrick 15:11, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Lokitrick, the trivia states that Emonga is the first since Zapdos to be introduced and the first non-legendary.--PhantomJunkie 15:16, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
It would also be worth mentioning that the fact that it does share a typing with Zapdos is a first among unrelated dual typed Electric Pokémon. Jas61292 03:49, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

"Nihon momonga"

This article says that the scientific name for the Japanese dwarf flying squirrel is Nihon momonga, but it's really Pteromys momonga, as you can see if you go to the article about it. --Shiny Noctowl 13:33, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

I think we use the Hepburn romanization for all of these kind of articles. Crimsonnavy 17:47, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
N. momonga is only its scientific name in Japan. Everywhere else, it's P. momonga. --Gοldenpelt 20:12, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Just 'momonga' is Japanese for flying squirrel though, so I'd say that's the name source rather than specifically the N momonga. Ok 07:14, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Emonga

In the Trivia section shouldnt it be mentioned that this is the only Electric Rodent (Pikachu, Raichu, Pichu, Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu) with a secondary type? (flying of course) Ataro 21:35, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

I think it should be worth mentioning but other people might take it off. I once put in Pikachu's trivia that every generation had electric rodents similar to it. Generation 1 had Pikachu itself and Raichu, Generation 2 had Pikachu's pre-evo Pichu, Generation 3 had Plusle and Minun, and Generation 4 had Pachirisu. I also put that none of the lookalikes to Pikachu's family evolve. (This was before Emonga of Generation 5 was revealed, but then again, Emonga might not evolve either.) Someone took it down saying it wasn't worth mentioning, but I think it is even more worth mentioning Pikachu having lookalikes now that Emonga is revealed. I mean, all 5 generations so far have Pokemon looking like Pikachu, wether from Pikachu's family or not. I think yours would be worth mentioning as Emonga is the first of similar electric rodents with secondary type, but beware someone might take it down and say it isn't worth mentionng. --Brats817 23:43, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

I really don't see the logic in people saying a piece of trivia is "pointless" and not worth mentioning. The thing is, all trivia is pointless, that's why it's called trivia! If it's an interesting fact, and something that not everyone would have noticed before, then it's worth adding to an article. And the electric mouse trivia is interesting and certainly something I hadn't noticed before. T a r o m o n 12:48, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
You should also mention that it's one of the only Electric-types that's immune to Ground-type. --*Ɣℯ№ӎօṫհ* 04:29, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
Zapdos? ~ solaris 04:31, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
I didn't forget Zapdos, that's why I said "one of." =) --*Ɣℯ№ӎօṫհ* 02:28, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Adding

{{evobox |sprite1=HGSS Question Mark Sprite |name1=Emonga |type1-1=Electric |type2-1=Flying}}

Maybe we should add this! -OrangeYoda 18:34, 24 August 2010 (UTC)♪

Forgot about this, thanks! Jellotalk 18:38, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Shoupd it be added in trivia that Emonga is currently the only dual type with Static?

Or should that wait until all 5th gen Pokemon are released?--Shadowater 17:49, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

That'd be a good idea. ht14 03:52, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
