(Japanese: ヒロタ Hirota) is a one-time character who appeared in BW012.

Hirota is a Kindergartner who goes to a Kindergarten run by Yuri. One day Hirota and his friends found a Yabakuron at the garbage dump, he took it to Yuri who thought it may eat the childrens' toys so she returned it back to the dump. Hirota and his friends got angry with her and turned the dump into a secret base where they rebelled. When Ash and his friends were going to Shippou City, Hirota and his friends were on their tricycles, threw mud balls at Ash and took his hat.

When Ash tried to get in the secret base, Hirota took him in as hostage, but came to like Ash and his Pikachu and gave his hat back. Then a Meguroco appeared and attacked Hirota, but Yabukuron saved him. Then when the base started to collapse, Yuri quickly saved Hirota from being crushed from a box. In the end Yuri's attitude softened and Hirota and his friends adopted the Yabukuron.

Hirota first encountered Yabukuron when he and his friends found it at a garbage dump, which the teacher didn't allow them to keep due to her fear that it would live up to its reputation and eat the children's toys. As a result, her students rebelled against her and kept Yabukuron in their self-made secret base, not allowing her to approach. Even after Yabukuron saved the kids from a Meguroco that attacked them, she still wished to get rid of it until the secret base started to collapse and it saved one of the children. As a result, her attitude towards it softened, and she allowed Yabukuron to stay.

Yabukuron's known moves are Poison Gas, Sludge Bomb, and Toxic Spikes.
