Tatsumi Kimishima (Japanese: 君島 達己) is the president of The Pokémon Company and the former CEO and chairman of Nintendo of America from January 2002 until May 2006, his successor being Reggie Fils-Aime.

Kimishima once worked for the Sanwa Bank of Japan for 27 years and dealt with corporate planning, international business development, corporate communications and promotions.

Nintendo of America

Following the retirement of Minoru Arakawa, Kimishima took over as president of Nintendo of America. According to Nintendo he was "responsible for all of Nintendo's operations in North America and Latin America."[citation needed]

Family

Kimishima is married and has two daughters. One lives in New York and the other works at the Japan Credit Bureau.

Hobbies

Kimishima enjoys to play golf and tennis.
