VS. Rapidash (Japanese: VSギャロップ VS. Gallop) is the 377th round of the Diamond & Pearl arc in the Pokémon Adventures manga.
Synopsis
From the last episode, Professor Rowan and Platinum's father reject Platinum's decision as they think it was too dangerous. However, Platinum doesn't listen. She starts riding her Gallop, and inspired by her determination, it evolves into Rapidash. She explains that she heard about Team Galactic's plan last night. After a conversation with Byron, he send out Bronzong to prove Platinum's ability. Byron said that he agree with Platinum and he said that Platinum remind him about his son. At last her father allows her to go on her journey and permits Diamond and Pearl to escort her. Professor Rowan upgrades all of their Pokédexes and officially gives one each to Diamond and Pearl. Pearl starts to panic again as he thinks about Team Galactic's plan. But when he sees a ribbon that Empoleon kept, it reminds him of his past and he says that problems are solved by the three of them. Each of them starts traveling to a lake, except Diamond. Byron takes him and says that he needs special training. The scene cuts to the ship as Byron explains to Pearl that he needs to get on the ship to start special training and then he give his Sheildon to Diamond. The day had ended. At the end of episode the scene cuts to everyone that they had woken up, but they don't hear the Pokédex sound anymore. They all feel lonely.

- Diamond and Pearl have the permission by Platinum's father to help her on her journey.

- Diamond finds out that he will be going on the S. S. Sinnoh with Byron to do some special training with the Shieldon he befriended.
