(Japanese: ホドモエジム Hodomoe Gym) is the official Gym of Hodomoe City. It is based on Ground-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Yacon. Trainers who defeat him receive the Quake Badge.

In the games

Once the Player gains access to the Hodomoe Gym, he/she will ave to traverse a number of elevators that are in the mine shaft layout, navigatiing up and down and crossing girders to reach the middle elevator, which will take the player down to Yacon at the bottom of the mine shaft. The Player will have to engage several trainers on the way down, before he/she can challenge the Gym Leader.

Rewards

After Yacon is defeated, he will give the player the Quake Badge. He will also give out TM78 (Smooth Over), but only after the player reaches Electric Rock Cave's entrance.
