Horoscope is the popular Zodiac of the Unova region that is talked about on the TV Show "Personality Assessment and Horoscope". A certain Pokémon represents a certain month, unlike the real World Zodiac, where one Star Sign lasts for roughly a Month's time but not dead on a month. Also, the Pokémon in the Zodiac are related to the Star Signs of the Zodiac, for example Sawsbuck and Bouffalant, which are similar to Capricorn and Taurus, respectively.

The Zodiac

It should be noted that some of the Pokémon in the Zodiac are noticeably alike to the Signs of our Zodiac, however not necessarily in the correct places. It should also be noted that not all Pokémon are related to their Zodiac counterpart, instead being there to fill the gaps between similar Signs.

Month Pokémon Season Corresponding Sign Lucky Item
January Sawsbuck Spring Capricorn White Flute
February Simipour Summer Aquarius Mail
March Alomomola Autumn/Fall Pisces Hard Stone
April Whimsicott Winter Aries Hyper Potion
May Bouffalant Spring Taurus X Attack
June Klink Summer Gemini a slow Pokémon*
July Crustle Autumn/Fall Cancer Dowsing MCHN
August Braviary Winter Leo Calcium
September Gothorita Spring Virgo Xtransceiver
October Lampent Summer Libra Choice Scarf
November Scolipede Autumn/Fall Scorpio White Herb
December Fraxure Winter Sagittarius Poké Ball

Purpose

The Pokémon Zodiac makes an appearance in the TV Show "Personality Assessment and Horoscope". Each episode features one of the Pokémon in the Zodiac, and explains their current fortune and also their Star Item. The show is hosted by an unknown person, and information comes directly from a scientist/astrologer by the name of Dr. Astropoff.

Trivia

  • Braviary is the only Pokémon in the Pokémon Zodiac not to have counterparts that resembles it in the Tropical Zodiac. However, its bravery could be associated with that of Leo, the lion.
  • The Pokémon of the Zodiac that have counterparts in the real Zodiac all represent months when their counterpart's duration period ends.
  • Alomomola and Bouffalant are the only Pokémon involved in the Zodiac without an evolutionary line, and they each represent one of the months of the year beginning with the letter M.
