This is is a chronological list of Nintendo Pokémon promotional events for all regions.

Periodically, Nintendo hosts or sponsors parties and events for fans, often in connection to the premier of a new game or movie. They are especially notable in that certain rare Pokémon and items in the games, as well as cards and other things, are only available for a limited time from them. The methods used to transfer Pokémon and items to a game have varied over item, and include direct link trading, wireless reception from a Wonder Spot via Mystery Gift, or physical reception from an e-Card via Mystery Events; other methods may occur in the future.

The Darkrai is inside a Cherish Ball and holds an Enigma Berry, both normally unobtainable items, and knows Spacial Rend and Roar of Time, usually known only by Palkia and Dialga respectively.
