By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Categories...

They go on the bottom of the page. Not the top. Ataro 22:07, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

Okay, I fixed it. LimeGreenCharizard 22:19, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
Any reason you re-added that category to Rest and Protect? I removed them because NOT every Pokémon that can learn TMs can learn them; specifically, Regigigas. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 22:23, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
Could you please stop adding that category for a bit, it needs a shorter, less confusing name before we add it everywhere. Thanks. Werdnae (talk) 22:25, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 18:09, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

I do use the preview button. I can't help it if I see another mistake after I save. But thanks for the help, anyway. --LimeGreenCharizard-- 04:56, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
We all have those days. But please try to be more careful. You've repeatedly saved the Menu article quite a bit already. Thank you. --ケンジガール 11:03, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

Creating new pages

Hi LimeGreenCharizard. Thanks for your recent edits. When you create a new page, though, you need to categorize it so that it can be sorted in the database. For the page, you created, Markings, I've added the [[Category:Equipment]] (although I'm not sure that's the best category). Additionally, you should try and link new pages in wiki articles where possible. Thanks for reading. —darklordtrom 05:45, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

The reason for not categorizing it was for the same reason, I couldn't think of, for the life of me, where it would go. And as for the linking thing, I absolutely did that, and do that as much as possible whenever editing. So...I'm not sure what more you want from me. --LimeGreenCharizard-- 06:07, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
Hi, all I was looking for was a few more links to the article around the place. But now that you've merged it into the larger article, that is no longer required. Cheers, —darklordtrom 06:28, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

I'm done.

I think I'm done here. I mean, I can't waste two and a half hours editing a page that no one will ever read. I just want to enjoy Pokémon, not obsess over it. I'll continue rewatching the old episodes and playing the games, because those are the parts I fell in love with. Not because of this website. I mean, yes, this is the ultimate source of knowledge for everything Pokémon, and I would love to maybe correct small grammatical errors here and there. I know no one was holding a gun to my head telling me to spend hours telling you how Keith and Farfetch'd stole Misty's Pokémon, but I'm really just writing this for myself. I need to get a job...I need to get a life; I can't spend all day in my room hopelessly refining this website. The only reason I started doing this was because of one mistake on the Safari Zone page, and then it snowballed. I think I stayed because I love to write. I may return someday, to overhaul some more EP pages, but for now, until I get my life together, I can't. I thank all of you for your time; all of you nonexistent eyeballs. --LimeGreenCharizard-- 08:41, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

WTP

I noticed that you and Jo are having issues resolving the Who's That Pokémon naming convention. As you know, edit warring is frowned upon here and issues should be resolved on talk pages. I suggest starting a discussion on the talk page and getting input from others as well as staff. To put my two cents in, according to the Manual of Style, English names are used except for translating Japanese lines, such as in episode titles. Thanks! --rockersk08 04:07, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Well, I'm not going to be the one to go through and change probably about 85% of the episodes that features a difference of a Who's that Pokémon? from the original to the dub. Personally, I think it makes sense listing the Japanese names. --LimeGreenCharizard-- 04:11, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
I mentioned the issue to Kenji-girl when I first started working on my Who's That Pokémon project, and she said to make all the Dare De? names in English. I mentioned this statement here, and it would be helpful if you would comply with what the head of anime wants to have done rather than trying to fight with me. If you don't want to help change names to English, so be it. But don't make things more difficult for those who are trying to change things. Please understand. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 04:15, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
It's not that I don't want to help, but it should all be uniform. The episodes I edited were probably the last to be in English. So, if mine are the only ones you're going to change, then you should also change the other, maybe, 150 of them. --LimeGreenCharizard-- 04:19, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Attitude

Serious adjustment. If you don't like what someone's done, ask why they have done that. Do not demand, especially if said user is a staff member. Telling someone that you are going to ignore their opinion and continue regardless is also definitely not on. If something gets you that annoyed, take a step back and take a breather. It's not worth getting angry about. Werdnae (talk) 04:23, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

No attitude. Just trying to encourage uniformity throughout similar articles. I've been drastically misinterpreted. --LimeGreenCharizard-- 04:26, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
