Talk:Electrode (Pokémon)
My edit
My edit simply takes information from the Team Rocket TCG expansion, in case you were wondering.--ANinyMouse 00:09, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Sprite
Doesn't the back and front sprite of Electrode look a lot bigger than it used to?--Wowy 07:26, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- All Generation IV sprites are bigger. That's nothing new. ~$aturn¥oshi THE VOICES 13:37, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
Shiny Forme
Is it me, or is the blue in it's shiny forme similar to the blue Great balls? Voltorb shares this trait. It would be fitting; Living PokéBalls, and living great Balls...--Nostalgia 23:52, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm, almost. But it's still upside down and doesn't have the red bits. While it's fitting, it doesn't seem to match up completely. — THE TROM — 23:54, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
can someone put this in trivia
In leaf grean and fire red it's possible to get a level 3 electrode in an ingame trade User: Vespitomb 14:54, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- Already in there.--FF(edits•talk) 14:56, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- Electrodes hight/diamiter(assuming it is a perfect sphere, this is used to find its over all volume) and wheight suggest that it is less dens than water meaning it should be able to float. However it does not learn the hidden move SURF in any games up to date. EpicShadow 9:44, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
Its Red, Blue and, Green sprite
Does it look like that its teeth are not showing.--Pokéboy93 19:53, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, but we don't need a trivia item for that. It's quite useless information. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 20:20, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- ok--Pokéboy93 20:42, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Spelling
In the anime Pokédex entry, the word "predictably" is missing a "t."--Trebligoniqua 19:55, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Missing Information
There's no information in here about how Electrode's were used in a plot to power some type of Device which could only be shut down by making the Electrode's faint.--Arima 06:11, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- That's in Johto, right? Let's do something about that... —darklordtrom 07:51, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- I have added the information into the trivia section if that is okay. EpicShadow 8:51, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
The page's art
Is it just me, or does the picture at the top look more like the HG/SS sprite than the FR/LG one? Videogmer314 17:56, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Well, it's the official artwork... and it's from when FRLG was out. It's not a sprite, it's been there way before when HGSS came out. ▫▪Ťïňắ ♫♥ 18:41, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- I believe (s)he was pointing out that the official artwork and HGSS sprite are in the same position. Positions are mentioned on other pages, so why not this one?--Gou 04:44, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Hollow Electrode?
Should the image at this location be added to the page: http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv303/TomasOMeachair/1285947619049.jpg?t=1285955988
(uploading onto Bulbagarden Archives is restricted to admins at the time of writing)
I'm unsure as to the source of the image, other than my finding it on an imageboard, but it seems at least semi-official and could be worth mentioning in the article - Electrode certainly seems to be light enough for it being hollow to be possible, and hence worth mentioning.
The consequences of this for what constitutes a Pokémon could also be worth mentioning - Pokémon aren't necessarily organic in the same way animals are, and so shouldn't be treated as such from a categorisation and documentation point-of-view, maybe? TomasOMeachair 18:17, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- That's official? If so, then I think it would be appropriate, in either the Physiology or Trivia section. Ask an admin to upload that to the archives. --AndyPKMN 20:33, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- Posted on an admin page. Now we play the waiting game TomasOMeachair 19:46, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Worth noting?
Do you think it's worth noting in the trivia that Electrode can learn both Electro Ball and Gyro Ball via level up even though they have opposite effects? FrankTheTank000 23:45, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Reaching Trivia
This is gonna be silly, just to warn you all:
In an episode of Aeon Flux, "Thanatophobia," the show starts with Aeon singing a silly little song, as she plants bombs. These bombs are orbs, they are dark on the bottom half, slightly lighter on the top half. On the front in ebtween the two sides is a circle, with a smaller circle inside it. These bombs sproud legs, walk to a place, and then set their fuse. Aeon launches five of them.
If I didnt know better, Id say she was firing Electrodes. And it was good she kept her last pokemon so she didnt white out.
I know how bizarre and reaching this is, obviously, but then it wouldnt be trivia if it werent trivial! Its a minute or so in. MTV wont let me link timestamped videos sadly. PowerPlantRaichu 23:24, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
