This explanation seems to be very inaccurate. There's a video on how to ACTUALLY do it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aN2xKY82Sc This page should becompletely redone.Dialga123176 04:00, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Trainer battles

Can this occur in-game? I only saw it via YouTube about Wi-Fi ones. Also, there seems to be two versions: Rain + Sandstorm (buffeted by Sandstorm) or all four weather conditions (hurt by its <insert ability here>). The first one is activated via Sand Veil, while the other is via Snow Warning. ht14 00:38, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't doubt it. Some Trainers switch Pokémon. Some Trainers use Pursuit. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to set up. —darklordtrom 03:20, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Ok. Now that that's answered...how about part two? There are two versions. This is notable. ht14 03:12, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Happened to me in Battle Tower, see the next section - did not have Sand Veil, by the way. Jdthebud 21:57, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Possible immunities

In a test of this glitch, Mamoswine was completely unaffected by the damage from the glitch. The glitch still affected other Pokémon on the field like normal. It seems that not being affected might be keyed off of immunity to Sandstorm and Hail. I hope to test this at some point with Skill Swap and Sand Veil. Surfingpika 07:00, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Was just plying in the Battle Tower today and had Tyranitar as my lead. Used Pursuit on a switching Pokemon, and the weather changed to Rain + Sandstorm (buffeted by Sandstorm twice). However, my Tyranitar was unharmed. The other trainer did not have a sandstorm immune Pokemon so I don't know if Sand Stream is another ability or if all Sandstorm-immune Pokemon are immune to this glitch. Just caught this glitch (Rain and Sandstorm), my Lunatone was immune to it, while opponent's Roserade was not. --ЫъГЬ 17:12, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Rayquaza?

Would rayquaza be immune to its effects by Air Lock?--F1restar 12:28, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

That's a good question. We don't know if Psyduck and Golduck with Cloud Nine are affected either. R.A. Hunter Blade 17:20, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Removing Acid Rain

Well, just now I saw Hippowdon with Sand Stream replaced Acid Rain with Sandstorm. - unsigned comment from ЫъГЬ (talkcontribs)

This needs a video

Just saying. Someone wanna help with that? TTEchidna 01:56, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

We used to have some, but after we removed all YouTube Links, we haven't had one for a while. R.A. Hunter Blade 04:31, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
Argh, just yesterday I could provide one... Still we can set up it. I can help with battle (have a Lunatone, who caused the Rain twice already) and with video.--ЫъГЬ 12:56, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
We had two videos, which I just found in the page's history:
>Castform This one?
Maybe it will be better to create new video? With researching of the aforementioned issues and with Castform. With flashcard I can make high quality videos, like this one.--ЫъГЬ 13:53, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
No, this one had the whole battle, not just Castform transforming. And it might be better to make a new video... R.A. Hunter Blade 23:29, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
I can assist with this - I've got a Dusknoir with Gravity. We wanna show that not just weather does this. And if we wanna make a battle video, we can't show Castform/Cherrim. TTEchidna 00:52, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
I have a Lunatone with Trick Room and Absol with Pursuit and Swords Dance. Maybe we should also test and cover in the video all the effects of Acid Rain? Like possible immunities, I can bring Mamoswine, or something immune to only one condition. Another thing, I think should be investigated is possible removing of Acid Rain with normal weather condition due to Weather abilities (Sand Stream, Drought...) or probably moves like Sunny Day. Here I also can provide Hippowdon, Tyranitar, Groudon, or something with Sunny Day.--ЫъГЬ 11:28, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
I happen to have made a video of the Acid Rain glitch with Trick Room (all weather conditions activated) AND Castform transforming. It's right here if you are interested. Rayqui 16:22, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
