Trivia

I think the part of the trivia referring to shock waves should not be there. The Pokedex is referring to sonicbooms: the emphasis here is on the wave. The attack Shock Wave literally means shock, as in electricity. Think of it like as the former being a powerful wave, the latter being a wave of electricity. A trivial misunderstanding of grammar and physics. I vote for a removal. King Neoterikos 02:24, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Well then... do so. TTEchidna 10:21, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

|heartgolddex=If it flaps its wings really fast, it can generate shock waves that will shatter windows in the area.

Hmmm

In Generation I and II, anyone notice that the "face" (the ones that show a Pokémon's nest in the respective Pokédexes) look alot like a Yanma? LordHeinz 22:52, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Possible error in Name Origin?

Is there a particular reason why, in Yanma's name origin, where it mentions being based on the 'Japanese' word yanma, contains Chinese characters? A simple google search brought me to the Chinese language wiki for dragonflies, which is probably correct, but just seems odd. I'm just wondering why it says Japanese, when the characters are clearly Chinese? I would edit it myself, but this is actually my very first post on a talk page, and I'm not really sure how to do so :/ Chippycavna 16:16, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

It's both Chinese and Japanese. If you search 蜻蜓‎ in Japanese Wikipedia, it redirects you to correct page about large dragonflies.--Den Zen 16:22, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, just thought it seemed wrong/odd. Thanks for clearing that up :) Chippycavna 16:28, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
