Bug type specialist?
It's been bugging me (no pun intended) for a while, but Adeku's team consists of three Bug type Pokemon, while slightly resembling one of the Pokemon he owns himself (Urugamoth). As a point of comparison, Steven Stone of Hoenn owns three Steel types during his reign as Champion in Ruby/Sapphire and is classified by the site as a Steel-type specialist. What do you guys think? Should Adeku be classified as a Bug-type specialist? Or retain the 'Various' typing he has presently? --Chicobo329 06:51, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
- Steven's classified as Steel because the Trainer's Eye classifies him as Steel. He also uses Pokémon which can be described as -similar- to Steel. Adeku's a little all over the place. I think he should be retained as Various unless something in-game says otherwise. —darklordtrom 07:07, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Pokemon are this high in level?
I've thought that this is interesting how Adeku's Pokémon are another 20 levels above the Elite Four. This will likely inevitably mean that the Elite Four will require extra training. The training wouldn't be terribly difficult, but I don't know if this is the actual team that Adeku comes at you with in the first battle. It could be the team for any kind of rematch after the game =, but I'm wondering if this is accurate.-[Pokemaniac72]
- Well to clarify, you can battle Adeku only after your second challenge against the Elite Four, as N will prevent you from challenging him the first time. So his Pokémon's levels match up with the Elite Four's rematch Pokémon. ~ solaris 23:15, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Clothes with common feature.
There seem to be some common features in Yamabushi. [1] Sawamular101 02:02, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Poncho seems also to have the common feature. [2]Sawamular101 07:00, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Does Alder talk about the word of Japan by "Localize version"?
Alder「"I've really been looking forward to deciding who's the strongest Pokémon Trainer in the Unova region! Kiai!" 」
Kiai(気合) is Japanese word.
Typical "Localize version" deletes the element of Japan. Is it my misunderstanding? Sawamular101 21:43, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- The quotes section says that it was kept. It's not the first time; many characters based largely on Japanese culture like Black Belts and Sages don't avoid making the same references to said culture. --AndyPKMN (talk) 01:07, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
- Martial arts related terms and wording aren't an unfamiliar subject to the English franchise, given that Candice was all about getting one's "kiai" on, and Greta used "yosh/osh" in the English dub as well. And it never fully deletes every element, likely on purpose. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 02:12, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for the explanation. Sawamular101 04:16, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Pokémon League Plaza Statue
Does anyone notice about the statue on the plaza of the Pokémon League? It really looked a lot like Sugimori's art. With that pose and that something he's stepping on. --PKMNChamp 03:17, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
Dakim, Admin from Pokemon Colosseum
Alder resembles him a lot, to me. The hair and Poke Ball necklace particularly. Possible inspiration?Blitzamirin 13:00, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- Maybe... maybe but for now it is best to avoid putting down speculation. They do look similar though. Except Alder fights for common good while Dakim did the opposite all the way to the end. Frozen Fennec
- I don't like speculating either, but it strikes me odd. Being in the same franchise, and each other could be considered opposites (good vs. evil). Nevermind anyway.Blitzamirin 13:15, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
