Project TCGdex

Scope and aims

Project TCGDex covers all entries and articles about every Pokémon cards, Trainer cards and Energy Cards from the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Its goal is to produce the most comprehensive database on all Pokémon Trading Cards, from basic information on to the most technical aspects possible.

Punkrockrevel - I've just made my first page through copy-paste and editing - Here. Tell me if it looks alright, please. If so, I'll continue making card pages, give me a set to focus on.
Politoed666 - n00b...trying to learn the ropes and editing "In the TCG" sections. Arri - If there's anything specific that you want me to do, just write. So far, Im just adding where I see.

  1. Create Pokémon Trading Card pages. The Dark Metal Energy (TCG) and Charizard (Base Set 4) page are good examples.

Link templates

These link templates are particularly useful for making lists of the cards available in the different sets or theme decks.

  • {{TCG}} - This link template is for cards which appear widely in the game, such as energy cards. To use this link template, type in {{TCG|Card Name}}. For example, {{TCG|Dark Metal Energy}} would result in Dark Metal Energy.
  • {{TCG ID}} - This link template is for cards which appear in only certain sets, such as Pokémon cards and trainer cards. To use this link template, type in {{TCG ID|Set Name|Card Name|Number}}. For example, {{TCG ID|Base Set|Charizard|4}} would result in Charizard.
