Notes:

Or

Should we or shouldn't we have the top of this be colorized by the type of the Pokémon? Everything else does... TTEchidna 08:32, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

heatproof

heatproof is missing in the notes..--Hanmac

Heatproof is still missing in the notes. — THE TROM — 23:51, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
It's there, it just wasn't passing. TTEchidna 01:48, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Some Problem

Magnemite is a pure Electric Type in Generation I,that means

Normal effectiveness

Normal, Fire, Rock, Bug, Water, Fighting, Ghost, Grass, Poison, Psychic, Ice, Dragon

Weak to

Ground 2×

Resistant to

Flying ½×

Electric ½×

But seem the Notes didn't note down about the effectiveness change of Fighting, Fire, Rock, Bug,Grass and Dragon (ya,a lot of miss).

Also, The Notes of Heatproof is missing, can someone add it??? --chungkingpunノ08:29, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

I did? Eck, I'll fix it ASAP. TTEchidna 22:36, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Lately While I check about the notes, the Magnemite part's note is fixed but the Notes of Heatproof is still missing (I've Check about the source code and didn't find any word or information that relate to heatproof, though) , can someone add it??? --chungkingpunノ12:04, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

We need one of these for the glitch Pokémon...

I'll code one up later to remove Dark/Steel if it's a Gen I glitch Pokémon and have notes... TTEchidna 22:36, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Hey

Why is the grass-type listed as changing for G1 poison-types? Poison resisted Grass in G1 and G2; none of those Pokémon are going to have any change.

More importantly, how can I fix this without blowing everything to hell? --Marton(I'm Jewish)imos 21:00, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Flash Fire

The parser should also mention when the Pokémon is frozen... ht14 22:01, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

...when you're frozen Fire-type moves damage you if you have Flash Fire? TTEchidna 22:11, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
According to the article... ht14 22:13, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Problem

In the Normal one, where there are no resistances, It doesn't say "None" under it. Malake256 18:25, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

The 0 value for Ghost is tripping the check that gets rid of the "None" for "Resistant against". It's checking for values less than 100 when it ought to also be checking that the value is not zero. Drapion 01:46, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Glitch

Is there any way to fix the glitch that happens where the bottom of the type is cut off and put at the top of the next column, or is somebody working on that? Pokemonemerfan1954 15:56, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Are you using chrome? It works fine in firefox but I've noticed your problem happening in chrome. --Pyritie 19:55, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
Chrome breaks wikitables. —darklordtrom 22:39, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Worry Seed!

You guys seem to keep forgetting about Worry Seed as another move that changes abilities. For example in Vaporeon's article it only mentions how Skill Swap or Gastro Acid can make water type moves do 1/2x damage instead of 0x, but this also happens if Worry Seed is used on Vaporeon. Can someone edit this template thingy to reflect this? --Pyritie 18:44, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Suggestion (or, more of a request)

Can we change this so that if a Pokémon has no resistances or immunities*, the column becomes empty? I find that it becomes confusing. I'll explain: Bulbasaur has no imminities, yes? So if the Immunities column has a box colored in coloured in Grass-colour (Bulbasaur's primary type), it looks as if Bulbasaur is immune to Grass-type moves. It allows the reader to quickly glance at the page instead of actually reading the word "none". It sounds like I'm being lazy (which I probably am), but it's just a suggestion. たかはり 05:45, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Knock down and

Knock Down also makes Flying-types susceptible to Ground-type moves. Also someone should link to Damage modification. Vemoth 16:50, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

Iron Ball

In Generation V a flying-type Pokémon holding an Iron Ball will receive neutral damage from Ground-type moves regardless of its secondary type, the template should be updated. Pikiwyn talk 09:33, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

I would, but I honestly think the whole thing needs a rewrite. For example, it mentions Mold Breaker, but not Teravolt or Turboblaze. I'll fiddle with it in my sandbox, then I'll try and update it. --SnorlaxMonster 10:25, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Is it just me, or is this template having issues?

In the "Damaged normally by" category, some of the types are only partially showing (a segment of each seems to be chopped off). Is this showing up with anyone else? For the record I'm using Safari 5.0.2 on Mac OS X 10.6.4. chiefboztalk 20:50, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

This is definitely true with Safari and Chrome. It looks correct in Firefox ...and columns are ignored in IE (haha). It's due to the use of multiple columns. If you notice, the type that is half cropped is actually just wrapping into the next column. I think someone should edit the template so that if there are an odd number of types, perhaps place an invisible object (div) of the same height as an entry at the end of the column so that it is even and no types are "split". Not everyone uses Firefox. Ribose 02:52, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, verified with Chrome 12.0.742.100. chiefboztalk 00:40, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Rather belatedly, this should be fixed by a redesign that eliminates that code. If it's broken, update your browser. I've personally checked that it works in IE9 and the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome. Werdnae (talk) 08:21, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

Better wording

I think it should be changed to "Weak against" and "Resistant to", although "to" and "against" are interchangeable, it makes more sense when they are placed next to "resistant" and "weak" respectively. BNKTalk 21:22, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

I've made them both "to" in the redesign. Simpler is better. Werdnae (talk) 08:21, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. BNKTalk 16:58, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

Shedinja's Wonder Guard

Can someone add Turboblaze, Teravolt, Skill Swap*, Entrainment*, Worry Seed, and Simple Beam? ~Enervation 19:16, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Added. --SnorlaxMonster 09:21, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
Skill Swap is wrong. It never worked on Wonder Guard, I've checked that about week ago in Emerald and it said "But it failed". Marked +-+-+ 13:50, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
Skill Swap was never actually added to Wonder Guard because I knew about your findings. However, it seems that I ended up leaving "Wonder Guard" in the tool tip after Entrainment and Skill Swap for every other Ability, which has now been fixed. --SnorlaxMonster 15:17, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
