Try reading it for more than two minutes.
"Quotation marks with other punctuation marks:
- 1. Commas and periods (full stops) are always within the enclosing quotation marks, whether or not they are part of the quoted material"

There's a difference between being stubborn and being just plain stupid. You're stupid. I suggest you read the entire Quotation mark wikipedia article. But if you just don't want to edit all your articles to fix them, just say so.
