• This episode title is almost identical to that of a chapter in the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga, Clefairy Tale.
• Near the end of this episode, a chef said he was going to cook chicken. This leads reason to believe that animals may exist in the Pokémon world. He may have wanted to cook, maybe, a Combusken or Blaziken but these Pokémon were not discovered at the time this episode debuted.
