Talk:Mewtwo (Wizards Promo 3)
Alright I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly but I'd like to discuss this page. This page is AWFUL. Someone who doesn't know what they're doing added some info about a stamp misprint and added a pic of it and they messed up the page layout etc.. Firstly, the misprint picture doesn't gel with what Bulbapedia usually include pictures of in their card articles. It seems like someone is shamelessly promoting their error card. Secondly, the picture is poor quality and is not a scan - I like the finesse Bulbapedia employ by only having scanned images and no grainy camera images such as this one. If someone can fix this page, that would be great. If not, if someone agrees with me and says I can then I will fix the page up myself. Hope I'm not overstepping my bounds. - It was added by Maverick Nate. Isn't he leader of Project TCG or something? --Abcboy (talk) 04:34, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- I believe he is, but that doesn't make the edit job any less inferior. I admire the initiative but things should be done correctly and adequately.Cbd1235 (talk) 02:27, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- Our eventual goal is to get scans of every print of cards (glossy, Cracked Ice Holofoil, reverse, etc), including significant errors. The misplaced stamp was deemed significant enough to get it's image here. Yes, we would like scans of everything, but many times we can't get them right away. We may just have to move the error image over to the Error cards page, which would be acceptable. Feel free to improve the page if you would like. MaverickNate 19:12, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- The page is fixed now to an acceptable level. As stated by Bulbapedia, pictures are acceptable if a scan is not available...I looked this up after I posted. The real pressing issue before was that the pictures were in the Trivia section while the Trivia portion was bumped off to the side. The whole page was a mess but that has since been fixed. I'll continue to add any information I can to the Unnumbered Japanese Promo pages, after that I'll be asking for some help on how to upload pictures. I've amassed quite the collection of HQ scans. Where would I go to do this? (Sorry I know this is a bad place to ask but I'm new at this). Cbd1235 (talk) 02:03, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
