Talk:Pidgey (Pokémon)
Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on February 27 and September 30 in celebration of the releases of Red and Green in Japan, and Red and Blue in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every year, so when the time comes, here to return to the page and change the display. |
TCG
The TCG info should be a lot more detailed, and TCG cards probably should have seperate pages. Jshadias 21:40, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Do you mean that each TCG card should have its own page, or just a page for each Pokemon's cards? In other words, should Charmeleon and Blaine's Charmeleon have separate pages? If so, I have a bunch of old Pokemon cards and I can do some of the pages. --Doug teh H-Nut 7:16 PM EST, July 11, 2005
I don't think that's what he/she/it ment,but I could be wrong--Pokemon champ 01:48, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
Sprites?
A lot of sprites seem to be missing for Pidgey. Does anyone know if the links are wrong or does anyone have any pictures of the sprites? Gazco !!!! my page|Talk 19:55, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- Same with the other 400+ Pokémon. First I need to add the Sprite template to all of them, THEN we upload. Pretty sure we have all the shiny D/P, RBGY, and Emerald sprites. Along with most of the D/P back ones. TinaTheKirlia ♥ 19:02, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
3 or 4 claws?
Has anyone else noticed Pidgey (and Pidgeotto) have 3 claws in all the game sprites but 4 claws in the anime? I think that should be added to the trivia. (GT4GTR 10:12, 7 November 2008 (UTC))
- I never noticed that o: In my opinion, it's worth adding ~~Takoto| サソデイ 10:22, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
A bit of trivia?
Should it be noted that Pidgey and Spearow share extremely close, one might say identical, footprints? Sssteelix! 02:14, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Considering they have extremely close, one might say identical, feet, I'd say not. Schreiber 17:29, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
HGSS Game Locations - National Park?
Pidgey is listed on this page as being available in the National Park in HG and SS, however, on the National Park page it isn't listed for Generation IV at all. Any particular reason for this? ~Ender Phoenix 04:47, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
name origin question
anyone thought its name might have something to do with the word pudgy? It is kind of a fat little birdie. In A Manica 04:04, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Pidgey's origin
Would it be safe to just say that Pidgey is based on a sparrow? Pidgey shows a clear resemblance to the Eurasian tree sparrow, and its short cry even sounds somewhat like a sparrowchirp (though I'm not much of a birder). --Stratelier 02:23, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
