Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on November 21 and October 15 in celebration of the releases of Gold and Silver in Japan, and Gold and Silver in the United States. Colour change

I do not know about anyone else but I looked at the sprites and saw that the Gold & Silver normal sprites are a pink colour, then in Crystal it turns purple; this colour continues until Platinum, then in HeartGold & SoulSilver it has turned pink again. Whilst the shiny sprite has been grey all the time. --011284mm 23:45, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

It's a really subtle difference that the only explanation for the GS sprites being off is color limitations... and HGSS kinda changed colors of things in general, so it's not too notable. ▫▪Ťïňắ ^♫♥ 00:00, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
