To clear things up, I for a fact know that "kage" means shadow and I see the fire symbol,火, so its gotta be fire shadow. Yeah, I watch some Naruto and Hokage is in that, and I'm pretty sure it means fire shadow.--DRAGONBEAST^X 08:52, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes. This is the literal meaning. But 火影 together mean "firelight" 火 and 影 separately mean "fire" and "shadow". Have you ever heard about idioms? --Maxim 09:10, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
