Trainer Customization artwork

Trainer Customization (Japanese: ??? ???) is a feature in Pokémon X and Y that allows the player to customize their appearance. Players choose from three skin tones at the beginning of the game, and may further change their hair color, hairstyle, clothing, and accessories in a salon and boutiques throughout Kalos. Customized trainers will appear in the overworld, on the Player Search System, and in the Pokémon Global Link.

This is test article based on information from pre-release trailers. Anyone is free to edit it by adding more information, removing unnecessary information, or fixing templates. My notes appear in parentheses throughout. If it is approved for the mainspace, this page in its entirety is not to be posted until the games' release.

Features

Diantha assists the player when they customize their appearance at a boutique (when?). ...A different "fanfare" effect will appear once the player has finished customizing their appearance (depending on what?). (Is this worth noting?)

Locations

(Where are the boutiques and salon located? Is this information worth putting in a section of its own?)

Salon

Color

By selecting the "Color" option, the player may choose to dye their hair several different colors. (Anything else? List hair colors, any special options.)

Styling

By selecting the "Styling" option, the player may select a new hairstyle. (List hairstyles below. If they have names, use "Clothing" template and list Japanese names, descriptions when applicable, and images if possible.)

Boutiques

Each boutique in Kalos has a unique selection of clothing and accessories based on the "essence" of its surrounding city. (This was from Serebii -- video or interview source?) Players may browse through the Boutique's selection before entering a fitting room and activating the Trainer Customization screen.

(The following category names are based on the appearance of their respective icons, and are not official. Make sure the official names are up before sending this page out. I referred to this trailer for the infobox colors. The "Tops" box has examples of items available for customization. If the boxes look all right, and the code isn't broken somehow, I'll upload them as a template.)
