Weird coloring in my game...

There's nothing wrong with your game. In Platinum, Mareep, Natu, Xatu, Ursaring, and Forretress all got new color palettes. Chaos Rush 22:58, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Earthquake?

Forretress can learn Earthquake via TM26, right? It's not listed in his moveset. Shipwreck Kelly 14:40, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

With Earthquake in its arsenal, Forretress is nearly unstoppable, being that Earthquake will take out the sole type to which it is weak: fire;-- add steel, rock, and poison types as bonuses. Thep0keman (talk) 03:04, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

First original Steel-type?

"Forretress is the first original Steel Pokémon in the National Pokédex order. (Magnemite's evolutionary line, which precedes Forretress, wasn't Steel-type in Generation I)." I don't think this counts, because Forretress didn't exist in Generation I. q~Bisumito~p 16:46, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

I would say that this is the same situation as Jigglypuff and the first Fairy type Pokémon from the Kalos region. Jigglypuff would be first one in the order, but it isn't the first Pokémon that was originally a Fairy type, that belongs to the Kalos Pokémon. --Super goku (talk) 16:58, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

Name Origin

I always thought that the name had an aspect of ferrous--from the latin for iron or steel? That's where I figured the double r came from. Does anyone else see that, or is it just me?Harumei (talk) 13:13, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
