Hotel Richissime is a large black building located on the North Boulevard of Lumiose City that serves as a luxury hotel. A man at the reception desk will let the player stay overnight, healing their Pokémon, at the cost of $100,000.

Malva is fought here during the Looker sidequest after upgrading the Mega Ring.

Work

A lady at the reception desk in the lobby will offer the player the opportunity to work as an attendant at the hotel by completing different kinds of tasks. Each task can be completed once per day to get monetary rewards. Both the difficulty and the payment increase as the player succeeds at more tasks, as follows:

  • Level 1: $2,000 per successful task, $650 per failed task.
  • Level 2: $10,000 per successful task, $1,500 per mediocre task, $750 per failed task.
  • Level 3: $20,000 per successful task, $3,000 per mediocre task, $900 per failed task.
  • Level 4: $50,000 per successful task, $5,000 per mediocre task, $950 per failed task.

Room service

The player goes to the reception counter, where they will meet the concierge, Stew. Then they will receive a food order from a guest and must repeat it correctly to Stew by choosing four phrase options that compose the guest's sentence.

  • At level 1, there is one order to be memorized. Repeating the order wrong will earn the player a failed task payment, while repeating the order right will earn the player a successful task payment.
  • At level 2, orders from two different guests have to be memorized. Repeating both orders wrong will earn the player a failed task payment, repeating only one of the two orders wrong will earn the player a mediocre task payment, and repeating both orders right will earn the player a successful task payment.
  • At level 3, the player must memorize three different orders. Repeating either all three or two orders wrong will earn the player a failed task payment, repeating one of the three orders wrong will earn the player a mediocre task payment, and repeating all three orders right will earn the player a successful task payment.
  • At level 4, four different orders must be memorized. Repeating two, three or four orders wrong will earn the player a failed task payment, repeating one of the four orders wrong will earn the player a mediocre task payment, and repeating all four orders correctly will earn the player a successful task payment.

Making beds

The player goes to one of the floors in the building. Once there, an attendant named Ward will ask them to make all the beds on the floor, which is done by entering the rooms and examining them while avoiding delays from obstacles. As the difficulty increases, the player will come upon more obstacles in the corridors.

  • At level 1, the attendant will ask for the beds to be made within 75 seconds, and there will be workers running around the corridors. The player receives a failed task payment for going over the time limit or a successful task payment for making all four beds under the time limit.
  • At level 2, the player will have a requested time limit of 65 seconds, and workers moving tables, completely obstructing the corridor, are added to the obstacles. A failed task payment will be earned if the player takes more than 65 seconds, a mediocre task payment will be earned if they take within 60 to 65 seconds, and a successful task payment will be earned if they take less than 60 seconds.
  • At level 3, the beds must be made within 55 seconds, and more obstacles are added, like people checking the vases in the side corridors, and clerks walking near the room entrances, blocking them from time to time. A failed task payment will be earned if the player takes more than 55 seconds, a mediocre task payment will be earned if they take within 50 to 55 seconds, and a successful task payment will be earned if they take less than 50 seconds.
  • At level 4, the player will be assigned any of the previous floors with the appropriate time limits and scoring, or 5F. If assigned to do 5F, the beds must be made within 40 seconds - while there are only two, they are located far into the rooms with NPCs walking up and down the narrow passages the player needs to get through. A failed task payment will be earned if the player takes more than 40 seconds, a mediocre task payment will be earned if they take within 38 to 40 seconds, and a successful task payment will be earned if they take less than 38 seconds.

Lost and found

After a maid named Esse receives a phone call from a guest, she will accompany the player to said guest's room, indicating that they have to find an item on the floor. The items are fragile, so the player has to be careful to not break them by stepping on them. Note that while the Dowsing Machine cannot be used inside the building, the player character will look down to the floor if there is an item in the nearby area.

  • At level 1, there is one item to be found. If the item is stepped on twice, the damages will be irreparable and will earn the player a failed task payment; by stepping on the item once and then picking it up, it will still be retrievable; and picking up the item without stepping on it will earn the player a successful task payment.
  • At level 2, there are two items to be found. Stepping on one item twice will earn the player a failed task payment, regardless of the status of the second item; stepping once on each item or once on only one item will earn the player a mediocre task payment; and finding both items without stepping on any will earn the player a successful task payment.
  • At level 3, the player must find three items, but instead of a single room, they must examine the entire floor, comprising four rooms and the hallways connecting them. Stepping on one item twice will earn the player a failed task payment, regardless of the status of the other two items; stepping once on each item, or once on one or two of the items will earn the player a mediocre task payment; and finding all three items without stepping on any of them will earn the player a successful task payment.
  • At level 4, there are four items to be found in the two suites and hallway on 5F. Stepping on an item once will automatically earn the player a failed task payment, regardless of how many items were found beforehand. Finding all four items will earn the player a successful task payment.
