hey people- i was just thinking that you need to add more to the template here...such as Pokémon Pikachu there is a sequel, (Pokémon Pikachu 2 GS) so they could go under their own section...perhaps "Pedometers" or "Other" i dunno but now you guys know my thoughts... Splitting up

This thing's getting really too big. At the moment I'm gonna split it into main series and side series games, after that, we'll see. TTEchidna 00:20, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

I agree... we should possibly make a seperate template for the Side games, then one for the main Generation games? TinaTheKirlia ♥ 00:28, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
{{Core series}} takes care of the second. I'm debating what exactly to do with the side games, since there's differences and similarities between many. TTEchidna 01:47, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
And done. Now this will serve as a linker for the four templates we now have. TTEchidna 03:33, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Template

Should a link to the e-Reader apps template be included? Zesty Cactus 18:04, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Side series link

Considering the fact that "Template:Side series" is a redirect to "Template:Spin-off series," could the link to the Side series be removed for repetition in the template? --Super goku (talk) 23:55, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

The short answer? I don't think so; not at the moment, at least.
The long answer? The staff are currently re-evaluating the status of the ColoXD, Box, and Stadium series. These have been intended to be called "the side series" for years, but nobody bothered to implement it. I started prodding people this summer to finally implement it, and instead of doing so, they decided to just say "we're gonna re-evaluate whether we need it or not". Until they've made their decision, I think it's prudent to leave everything as it is so that we only have to do one round of edits fixing things. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 00:21, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
