Toxic Boost (Japanese: どくぼうそう Poison Rampage) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. It is the signature Ability of Zangoose, although it is only available as a Hidden Ability.
Effect
In battle
When the user is poisoned, its Attack stat is raised by 50%.
Outside of battle
Toxic Boost has no effect outside of battle.

- Zangoose's inspiration, the mongoose, is likely the reason it has this Ability, as mongooses famously fight snakes.
- Toxic boost can be considered a bad ability due to guts having the same affect but also increases attack for sleep, paralysis, and burn.
