Damage

It doesn't say the damage of this move on this article. I would put it in but I don't know what it is. Dexington 15:09, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Spikes+Sleep Powder

I read somewhere that spikes together with Sleep Powder is illegal...why is that???--Wowy 01:59, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Where'd you hear that. I don't think there's such thing. tc26 02:07, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Only on the roserade line becuase it is impossible to breed both egg moves onto the same roselia The Placebo Effect 02:09, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Forced to the ground

If a Pokemon that is normally immune to spikes (say anything with flying) is forced to the ground while it's out (i.e. Smack Down), does it take the damage of Spikes, or do the Spikes only kick in upon sending a Pokemon out? Schiffy (talk) 15:11, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

smeargle

okay so both chespin and bunnelby get spikes as an egg move, but delibird is also in the field egg group. Does chain breeding take priority over smeargle or not?- unsigned comment from 0danmaster0 (talkcontribs)

Yes it does; Smeargle is listed only if it's the only Pokémon that can pass the move.--Den Zen 18:35, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

Chain breeding no longer required

Thanks to the introduction of Klefki in Gen VI, Chain Breeding is no longer required for Snorunt to learn Spikes. What's the best way to word that within the chain breeding note? "Must be chain bred prior to Gen VI"? --KiANGLO (TALK) 05:15, 15 November 2013 (UTC)

Increased priority move?

Every time I face Wikstrom's Klefki it is able to toss spikes out before I move. Was this made an increased priority move in Gen VI? It shows that its holding no items, I had a level 100 Jolteon with a speed of 333 (base of 130 vs Klefki's 75). I cannot see any way that this move could possibly have gone first without being increased priority. (Arcalargo (talk) 20:19, 3 June 2014 (UTC))
