Talk:Pokémon in Canada

I don't know if I should say that it's in CRUNCH or not. It doesn't say on the website's CRUNCH schedule, and it also says that the block is from 7-12. However, CRUNCH IDs are shown during the show. Porygon-Z 18:19, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Now I'm really confused. Today while watching O'er the Rampardos we Watched, a commercial came on saying "CRUCNH. Continues." If it wasn't during the block, it would have said the time rather than continues. A Yu-Gi-Oh! GX commercial came on, and it said it was next on CRUNCH. Porygon-Z 20:02, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- Confirmed. new commercials say that the block airs from 7-12:30 instead of noon. Porygon-Z 21:57, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Hey, YTV fans! I ♥ YTV! And well, I care about the article and I think it should display as much info involving YTV and Pokémon as it can. Do you think it should talk about the Pokémon commercials on YTV? Like, maybe in the trivia section? Well, it IS trivia, so I'll TRY to post something involving Pokémon and YTV. L8R guys! Additions
Should something be added about how we get most of the same stuff as the US? Porygon-Z 16:53, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- Probably, yeah. I don't know how much of a "duh" that is, but it wouldn't hurt. ZestyCactus 16:59, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Kids' WB!
Did this happen anywhere else besides Newfoundland? In St. John's, up until the mid-2000s we could always hear The WB, but never see it. It wasn't your normal grey pixelated mess, it was the actual broadcast all jumbled. Sometimes it looked alright for a few seconds. It was like this everywhere in SJ, not just my house. I don't believe you could buy these channels unless you had digital cable or satellite, so I'm not sure why they were there. These channels were in the 60s and 70s, but buying the full cable package got you from 2-59. Moving on, every place I visited in NL (which is alot of places) besides St. John's and the surrounding area actually had The WB as a legit channel. Porygon-Z 19:13, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've never heard of anything like that. O_o not that I don't believe you, but I've never seen that before. We don't have The WB in Toronto (unless, y'know, I just don't know people who do have it) ZestyCactus 18:15, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- Interestingly enough, Here in Hamilton, Ontario, we have had WB ever since pokemon debuted pretty much, and nothing like what you explained happened over here. Right now, I have a dish network satteleite system and can get Cartoon network. Just incase a storm comes, I have basic cable package from cogeco cable so I am able to get YTV as well. I have never seen this happen on both my cable provider and my dish, so long story short, the WB problem must have been very localized from where you live. Vhayes1992 23:03, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Pokemon.ca
It gets redirected to Pokemon.com. Worth mentioning? I think it would be nice to have a link to the country's Pokemon site in the infobox, too. Porygon-Z 18:11, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Am I seeing things?
It.s Friday December 11, and Instead of "The lonely snover" being aired, Advanced Battle came on on YTV. Anyone else see this. It is airing as I am typing this. - Vhayes1992 13:07, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- Ahhh I have no idea, I was already on my way to work by then and I never remember to tape it. D: I guess one of us should try to catch (or tape) Monday's show and see if that's AB, too? ZestyCactus 00:34, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
On Demand
On YTV On Demand there WAS some Pokémon episodes, I think there was the one where Iris meets Georgia, and Excadrill listens to Iris and a few other Black and White episodes, should we change it to say they do put Pokémon on YTV on demand?
