The 2003-04 Modified format of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (now referred to as Standard format) was a former Standard format used for Play! Pokémon organized play and in most sanctioned tournaments worldwide from September 2003 to August 2004.

Play period

The 2003-04 Modified format was announced on ..., rotating out Neo Genesis, Neo Discovery, Neo Revelation, Neo Destiny, and Legendary Collection. Sanctioned play periods varied slightly due to different release schedules in various regions.
