Welcome to Bulbapedia, Aggron989!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Templates

When using templates, such as P, make sure you use these ({{ and }}) instead of the brackets ([[ and ]]). Otherwise it appears as a red link and creates a wanted page. Thanks. Lady Ariel 18:01, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

Sorry... did I screw up on that somewhere? I wouldn't be surprised if I did. Aggron989 (talk) 22:04, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
I just fixed it on the Giant Pokémon page. Were the links not working? They did not appear as red links on the preview or the actual page. Aggron989 (talk) 22:08, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
Click the links. Aggron or Aggron. One goes to Aggron's page, and the other goes to the page p. --Abcboy (talk) 22:26, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
To clarify what Abcboy said. The links would have worked, but not to the desired page because the brackets were used instead. For example, [[p|Shroomish]] would link to P, instead of Shroomish. They wouldn't have appeared as redlinks, because a page does exist at the name P. Whereas if you used {{p|Shroomish}} it would have liked to the correct page. The brackets are used to link to a page, but the others are used for a template. Lady Ariel 22:38, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
Thank you! I wouldn't have noticed the difference otherwise. Aggron989 (talk) 22:44, 23 December 2012 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! ----Pokemaster97 21:19, 10 February 2013 (UTC)

Re: Curious

I added the em dashes because the part about Jessie seemed more like an aside, rather than an integral part of the sentence. Trak Nar (talk) 05:08, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

Okay! That makes sense. AGGRON989 21:56, 16 February 2014 (UTC)

The Be a Hero thing

It was already mentioned in "Dub Edits", so it's redundant. It is notable, though. Technickal (talk) 15:33, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Okay. You're right, I hadn't noticed that. Thanks! AGGRON989 15:37, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Raichu's Gender

I know gender is not revealed but if you check Gender differences page. Besides I know the difference with Raichu's tail. Male has a point tail and female lacks a point. I checked it out on Ash's page and it was male.--Jay 21 (Talk) 11:48, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

I checked the gender differences too and I agree that it looks more like a male than a female, but with gender differences such as Raichu's, I personally don't think judging by looks is reliable enough. The anime has size and shape discrepancies sometimes. It's a similar case to the reason we don't know the gender of Paul's Weavile, for example. AGGRON989 13:19, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

Heya

Just to let you know off the discussion, I asked Pokemaster97 for a feel of which way it might go, so that we know what to do after the page is unprotected. I'll let you read the comments there (if interested) rather than quote any of them here, but it appears the subject will be discussed sometime today, so I agree it's best to let the conversation be (having both presented perfectly valid points for and against) and let the staff decide what the best course of action is. Besides, I'm running out of examples. LOL CycloneGU (talk) 21:14, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

Much appreciated, thanks for letting me know! AGGRON989 21:25, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

Did you see the Ash's Pikachu talk page update? They reached a consensus, and game events already being on the page will be sufficient from now on. You can read the rest here if interested. CycloneGU (talk) 05:49, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

I hadn't noticed, but thank you for pointing it out to me! Yep, looks like the staff agree with you - personally, I'm just glad there's a consensus so we know what to do with event data from now on. :) AGGRON989 12:02, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

Source help

Aside from Facebook and Twitter, could you give me a hint to find all the English Voice Actors? Please? I want to find the source as well.--Jay 21 (Talk) 21:33, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

I wish I could help, but I'm afraid I can't. I wouldn't know where to look for other sources. AGGRON989 21:46, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

Okay. Thanks anyway.--Jay 21 (Talk) 22:59, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

About Pumpkaboo

So for the future evolution page, the article has to be locked in order to work?--Jay 21 (Talk) 21:50, 9 July 2015 (UTC)

The template says "this page has been protected", and since only admins can protect the page, I figure they're the only ones who should put up the notice. I agree with it being there, though. It just can't be there right now because the page isn't locked yet. AGGRON989 23:33, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
