Kabutops (Japanese: カブトプス Kabutops) is a Fighting-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Fossil expansion.

Release information

This card was released in the English Fossil expansion as both a Holofoil and a Non Holofoil card, first released in the Japanese Mystery of the Fossils expansion as only a Holofoil card. A Non Holofoil print of this card was later reprinted in the English Legendary Collection expansion.

Trivia

Although this Pokémon is level 30, Kabuto does not evolve into Kabutops until level 40.

Origin

Absorb is a move in the Pokémon games that Kabutops can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
