Magneton (Japanese: レアコイル Rarecoil) is a Lightning-type Stage 1 Pokémon card. It is part of the EX Dragon expansion.

Once during your turn (before your attack), if you have basic Energy cards in your discard pile, you may discard any 1 card from your hand. Then search for up to 2 basic Energy cards from your discard pile, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. You can't return the card you first discarded to your hand in this way. This power can't be used if Magneton is affected by a Special Condition.

Release information

This card was first released in the EX Dragon expansion with artwork by Aya Kusube, originating from the Japanese Rulers of the Heavens expansion. It was later reprinted in the EX Power Keepers expansion with new artwork by Masakazu Fukuda, which was later released in the Japanese World Champions Pack.
