Welcome to Bulbapedia, Yamitora1!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Masatoshitalk 04:22, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Two things

  1. Firstly, you are using template code that you copied from Jo The Marten's user page. This is a violation of the userspace policy, and on her page Jo specifically says "Templates made by Jo The Marten. I'd really appreciate it if no one took these templates without my permission. If you do take them without my permission, you will be made to remove whatever was stolen, and I will have lost all respect for you." As such, I have removed the coding from your userpage. If you would like to do something similar, you're free to ask users with this type of coding on the userpages about how to set it up, but you should always ask if you can use it before taking.
  2. Secondly, you seem to be quite sensitive at the moment. Your reaction to Masatoshi giving you a simple warning, and telling Kenji-girl that she should have a word with Jo were both overreactions. You mentioned a few days ago that you had been awake for 27 hours straight. Obviously you've slept since then, but it also makes sense that you would still be a little tired. People tend to get grumpy when they're tired, so perhaps looking at the messages you have been given after a good night's sleep will help you look at them in another light. Everything the two of them (and me) has said to you is just to try and help you. It is always best to assume good faith; doing so will ensure everyone gets along happily and there are no issues caused. --SnorlaxMonster 09:47, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Thundurus

Just to let you know, you can use the term he for Thundurus as Thundurus, and to an extent, Tornadus and Landorus are only male. --ForceFire 03:56, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

Things to consider

  • Don't go running to me, or anyone for that matter, to look for opinions as they can look for it themselves. I was about to respond when I got your message.
  • Please try to make your comments shorter otherwise they become too long and very tedious to read through. Try summarizing what you're trying to say in a one to two paragraphs to the least.

Thank you for reading :).--ForceFire 03:14, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Sorry ^^;
and sorry about the long read. I'm not very a skilled word smith, so its hard for me to summarize. But i'll try harder in the future Yamitora1 03:19, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Ponies

Would you please refrain from posting ponies in article chat unless it has relevancy (as in trivia).--TheJaceX (talk) 17:29, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

It's rather rude to tell someone not to do something there isn't a rule against just because you dislike a fandom, don't you think? I agree that Bulbapedia isn't the place for it, but it's better to just ignore it than get upset and break the rules because of it. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 18:25, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Ok seriously, just because I said 'Everypony' instead of 'Everybody' doesn't mean I am getting off topic or trying to force anything onto you. Its just one word... I still stay on topic of the article; discussing only it and the source materials. I edit constructively, I do not falter in my drive to better Bulbapedia and I keep true to the Pokémon fandom. I'm not going around writing how "Ponyta is the best pony" in the Ponyta talk page, or trying to add false trivia that Ponyta is based off MLP. No, I stick to the subject, I write what is needed; I seek to improve the article with creditable, relevant information. I'm sorry you don't like MLP or the Brony fandom, but telling me I'm breaking the rules, that Bulbapedia is not place for 'it' or I am somehow disrupting the subject at hand by committing a pun-driven grammar assassination is not only rude but a complete overreaction. My Talk page is no place for hating on fandoms. If you have a question about something, would like my input on something or would like help with an article then please come here and give me a ring. Don't come here hating on me or a whole fandom just because I said the word "Everypony" in an attempt to bring some goodhearted humor to a discussion, without getting off topic. Yamitora1 (talk) 19:10, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
I see nothing wrong with writing "Everypony" instead of "everybody", it did not distract from the issue at hand and he still got the point he was making across. As it was mentioned earlier, there's no rule against it, so it was acceptable. This isn't really worth getting upset over, so I believe it would be best if everyone just moved on. --Pokemaster97 19:50, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
My love of correct grammar does not mean I hate the Brony fandom.

Charmander dex entry

In regards to this edit, the usage of its/it's looks fine to me. --SnorlaxMonster 17:48, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Yes, but I often find people rushing in to change any "it's" to "its" for some reason. I've noticed it quite a few times on here.
I have even been cussed out (not on here) by people over the usage of "it's" even when grammar/spell check programs indicate or even suggest it to be the proper one. I don't know what it is about the word, but I seem to always find the Grammar Nazis in the crowd when I use "It's" Yamitora1 (talk) 18:07, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Re: Your question on SnorlaxMonster's page

Since I'm one of the people who reverted your edit on Nurse Joy's page, I figured I might as well answer that. Members of the staff (Kenji-girl at least, I'm not sure who else) have contact with with Tom Wayland who is the voice director of the dub currently. Because of this, there's no reason to play by ear, since that can be wrong, and since they can just ask who voiced what. It doesn't need to be you who gets a source though. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 21:36, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

ok, thanks Yamitora1 (talk) 23:57, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Just thought I'd say this

Those Pokémon holiday songs are actually damn good. I don't know if you thought of them, but if you did, good freaking job. That is all. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 02:08, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

The Claydol one yes, the 12 days was not entirely my creation. The 12 days is based off a Wonder Trade event hosted by Bulbagarden on their Twitter account. It will be based on a WonderTradeWednesday even that starts on Dec 12. On that day Bulbagarden will be wonder trading Chatrot holding a Aspear Berries for WonderTradeWednesday. On Dec 13th they will be trading Pidove. The pattern continues on like this until the last day of Christmas (Dec 24) when Bulbagarden will be trading out Marill. Yamitora1 (talk) 04:49, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
I... I didn't know about this. Damn finals and crap make it hard to keep up with events like this. (On a side note, the syllable count is so off on those songs, but they're clever nonetheless). Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 16:57, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
Boy do I know how that goes. Finals and all those other things will take it out of you long after they're over. Until I joined Twitter, I didn't know about a lot of things, now I learn about things almost before others do. As for the songs being off, I'm not a pro lol. Although I do think I could fix the Claydol song Yamitora1 (talk) 17:49, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Gen VI friendship values

Sorry I didn't respond to your friendship data. It was just easier for me to deal with the friendship stuff my way rather than trying to decipher someone else's observations, and I was hoping I could get to this sooner rather than later. (I probably could have said something like that, but sometimes I'm too optimistic. =P )

I got a pretty good handle on most of the friendship stuff. Unfortunately, I don't think I can use any of the numbers you've given because it's possible to reach the same target in two different ways. Maybe there is something in everything you posted, but...like I said, it's just easier to keep doing what I've worked out than it is to see if I can pull anything I still need out of the data you posted.

The only way I know to exactly figure out friendship is to see how the evaluator's evaluation changes as you add friendship to your Pokemon. And you especially have to be careful not to gain unknown friendship from walking at any inconvenient point (which basically means you have to know where the friendship step counter rolls over). It's doable, but if I needed to explain it thoroughly (to you, so you could figure out anything I couldn't get), it'd be pretty involved, so I don't know if it'd be worth the hassle (for you or me).

I at least got the values for the Colorful Shake and <Color> Juices, anyway. I can't do any of the other Juice Shoppe stuff at the moment, but you can be sure I'll get to them in due time.

I'll be editing in the data I got when I've got a few last things figured out. ;) Tiddlywinks (talk) 03:15, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

No problem understood. Yamitora1 (talk) 22:38, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Hidden Kecleon in Fortree?

Exactly under what conditions does this Kecleon appear? Because I can't seem to find it. I've beaten the Elite 4 several times now, I have a complete Pokédex (minus Hoopa and Volcanion, of course), my Secret Base is Platinum Rank, all that good stuff. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 22:37, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Go into the nasa place where the shuttle launches, and its behind the power rangers cut out if i remember correctly Yamitora1 (talk)

wait, i got my places mixed up. There is one on the bridge connecting two tree houses, and one before you can enter the gym. Yamitora1 (talk) 22:42, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
Well, the one blocking the Gym is, of course, long gone. And I've already searched all the bridges in town- nothing. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 22:48, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
It might be a random thing, I've run into them in weird places. if i remember right the one i found in fortree city was at the end of the bridge towards the second house, just keep pressing a or walking until you get blocked Yamitora1 (talk) 22:58, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Talk page discussions

When you start a new talk page, please remember to title your topic with a section header == like this ==. Thanks. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 19:00, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
