Suicune (Japanese: スイクン Suicune) is a Water-type Basic Pokémon card. It is part of the Aquapolis expansion.

To attach a Water Energy from your hand to Suicune, you must discard an Energy card attached to Suicune. (Attach the Water Energy, and then discard an Energy card from Suicune.)

This card has three e-Card Series prints. The card ID of the Holofoil Aquapolis print is C-66. The card ID of the Non Holofoil Aquapolis print is C-66-#. The card ID of the Wizards Black Star Promo print is Z-14-#.

On the Non-Holofoil Aquapolis print and the Wizards Black Star Promo print, both short strips contain Pokédex information and a brief card summary. The Wizards Black Star Promo print also has a long strip; therefore the short strip includes additional information regarding its content. The species, height, and weight are present on the Holofoil Aquapolis print.

Release information

This card was reprinted as a promotional card with different artwork, also by Atsuko Nishida. Both the Japanese and English versions of the card were included in the DVD and VHS releases of Celebi: Voice of the Forest. The English version also features the Pokémon 4Ever logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. The promotional print was reprinted with the EX Series card design exclusively in English as one of the Nintendo Black Star Promos. This print was first available in the EX Collector's Carry Tin, later followed by the EX Value Pack and Deluxe Gift Set.
