Pokémon Debuts

Can Pidgeot be considered to have debuted in this episode? I don't recall it appearing in the flesh. Vipera 23:25, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

If I remember correctly they mention that it's the evolved form of Pidgeotto but I'm not sure if it's shown on screen... I'd have to check my DVDs. ZestyCactus 23:27, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
That's what I remember as well. I'm fairly certain it didn't make an appearance, only a mention, but it is listed as having debuted in this episode by the article. A Pokémon has to appear in the flesh to be considered as having debuted, correct? Vipera 23:35, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
It's shown in this episode, but as only as a picture when Joe describes Pidgey's evolutionary path and moveset. It doesn't make an appearance in the flesh. CNash 11:25, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Deleted Scene

If the deleted scene was cut then how did you get it? Racerjames200 (talk) 19:54, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

It was deleted from the English dub. So we got it from the Japanese version.--Den Zen 20:03, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

Sun and Moon irony.

Okay, the reason I noted the irony relating to Sun and Moon is because this episode essentially showed that Ash didn't even NEED to go to school to be a good trainer, while with Sun and Moon, he's changed his goal to going back to school and, to quote CoroCoro, "to graduate like never before."
