List of glitches in Generation VII

This is a list of glitches that occur in the Generation VII core series Pokémon games.

Sun and Moon

All versions

Hau Double Battle Glitch

When in a double battle with Hau and burned. The game AI will consider Sparkling Aria a support move for healing the burn status affect and target the afflicted Pokémon.

Momento / Parting Shot Z-Move Glitch

The moves Mememto and Parting Shot have been noted to crash players games if their Z-Move is used online. As a result both been temporarily banned in the game’s online multiplayer.

Rocky Helmet Glitch

When a Pokémon equipped with Rocky Helmet is attacked by an opponents Pokémon, in which both are the last Pokémon of each trainer and both faint, the Pokémon equipped with Rocky Helmet is declared the winner instead of the attacker as in previous games. Game Freak has noted that they are currently looking into this glitch.
