The Art of Pokémon the Movie 2000 is an artbook first published by Shogakukan in Japan and then later released by VIZ Media in English. It is based on the film of the same name and the Pikachu short Pikachu's Rescue Adventure.
The Art of Pokémon the Movie 2000 consists of a narrated written adaptation of the film accompanied by full-color screen captures from the movie. There are also character biographies, a "new Pokémon Pokédex" with information on all the Generation II Pokémon that appear in the movie, and some concept artwork from Pikachu's Rescue Adventure.
