| The surface of Marshtomp's body is enveloped by a thin, sticky film that enables it to live on land. This Pokémon plays in mud on beaches when the ocean tide is low.

Release information
This card was included in the English EX Ruby & Sapphire expansion, first released in the Japanese Mudkip Constructed Starter Deck. In Japan, it was later reprinted with different artwork by the same artist as one of the ADV-P Promotional cards and distributed as inserts across several Shogakukan publications in February 2003. The English reprint was awarded as a prize to those who attended the Pokémon e-League throughout November 2003. Winner versions of this card were also released, which feature a foil "Winner" stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork. Jumbo versions of the winner print were also distributed as prizes.
