Mrs. Makani (Japanese: マカニ様 Mrs. Makani) is a character of the day who appeared in Crystal-Clear Sleuthing!.

She is a character on a TV show called Alolan Detective Laki (Japanese: アローラ探偵ラキ Alola Detective Raki). Mrs. Makani is most likely not the actress's real name but rather the name of the character she portrays. She is a widow who had received jewels from her late husband. In one episode of the TV show, these jewels were stolen. Detective Laki investigated the case and gathered a room full of suspects, with Mrs. Makani also present. Laki deduced the thief was the doctor among the suspects, who had hidden the jewels in Sableye dolls. Mrs. Makani was relieved to have her precious jewels back.
