Debut Wherefore Art Thou, Pokémon?

(Japanese: ヤンベラ Yambera) is a village located on the eastern part of Mandarin Island South that appeared in Wherefore Art Thou, Pokémon?.

It is a quaint little village home to many historic buildings, contrasting the bustling modern cities of Mandarin Island South such as Trovitopolis. The architecture in the town appears to be a mix of early Georgian style and Tudorbethan style construction.

It is the hometown of Ralph and Emily, who are also next door neighbors.

Like most settlements, Yambera has a Pokémon Center. It is a very large building that resembles an old-fashioned apartment with a sign that says "Pokémon" in front and a large "P" over the door. There are sleeping accommodations inside furnished with a desk and lightings.

Main street

The main street of the village features several amenities, including a gift shop, a tea and coffee shop, and a sandwich store.

Church

The Yambera church

A Christian church is located in the village center, and is where wedding ceremonies are held for the residents. It appears to be taller than its surrounding buildings. The brown stone building has a bell tower with three bells and a Christian cross on top. Its entrance features a red arch door, and a paved path and hedged garden leads to its entry steps.

Park

The park features an oval lake, a monument of a twisted sculpture, and a large garden with various floral displays and species of trees bearing pink fruits.

Contest Hall

Pokémon Contests are held annually in the village, and are apparently popular among the residents.
