The Group feature was introduced in Generation IV. Players in the same group encounter the same swarms each day, and have other events (like unusual weather in some locations) happen at the same time. Groups can also compare records on the third floor of Jubilife TV.
To create a group, players can talk to a man standing across the street from the Jubilife TV station. After the group leader mixes records, other players can join the group by talking to the same man.
