The king and queen with their daughter and Togepi

The King and Queen of the Mirage Kingdom are the rulers of the Mirage Kingdom, and also Princess Sara's parents. They appeared in The Princess and the Togepi and A Togepi Mirage!.

Misty confronted Princess Sara, her parents and Miranda, who had Togepi in their possession. The King quickly realized that the theft of Misty's Togepi was a part of a bigger plot by Colonel Hansen, and sincerely apologized for the disruption. He instructed Miranda to prepare an airship to escort Ash and his friends from the Mirage Kingdom.

In A Togepi Mirage! Colonel Hansen kidnapped Misty's Togepi and then locked the King and Queen away in the dungeon. The news of Colonel Hansen's ascent to the throne shocked Mirage Kingdom's citizens. However, with the help of Ash and his friends, and especially Misty's newly-evolved Togetic, Hansen was defeated and the monarchs were released. The King ordered Hansen's arrest, which restored peace to the Mirage Kingdom.
