By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Genders

A few things:

  1. Since Ludicolo's gender difference is something that would be difficult to determine, since an animator might make the stripe too thick in one scene and too thin the next, its gender needs to be explicitly stated or be hit by attract. This goes for any Pokémon whose gender difference is determined by the length or thickness of something on their design.
  2. Pokémon caught before gender differences were introduced cannot have their genders confirmed via gender differences. They stay at unknown until their opposite gender counterpart has been acknowledged in the anime. Ash's Pikachu and Jessie's Wobbuffet had their genders at unknown until their respective female counterparts were seen in the anime, only then did we change their genders to male.
  3. Pokémon that don't have gender differences can only have their genders confirmed if their genders were explicitly stated or if they were hit with Attract or Cute Charm.

Colress's concept art

There's no need to put that image in a gallery, since it's already featured in the infobox. Please keep that in mind next time you contribute to photo galleries. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:51, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

Talk pages as userpages

You may not use your talk page as a substitute for a userpage. You can create your userpage once you are Autoconfirmed.--ForceFire 14:40, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
