Merge with Sea Cottage and Bill's Lighthouse?
Cerulean Cape and Sea Cottage are both stub articles. Bill's Lighthouse, while not a stub, is still quite short. All three deal with essentially the same material, though Bill's Lighthouse is only in the Anime, while the Sea Cottage is in the games and other canon. I think the three articles should be merge to flesh out one larger, better article that deals with Cerulean Cape and it's landmark of the Sea Cottage/Lighthouse as a whole rather than split into three small articles. - I agree. ht14 13:55, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- I brought it up here and I'm going to do it again. I agree as well.--Clarky13 14:02, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

- I am going to bring this up again. Satosuke makes a valid point, Bill's Lighthouse and Sea Cottage are both very short articles.--Clarky13 13:32, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Bill's Grandpa
Okay, so I've shown Bill's grandpa all the pokemon he asks to see (in HGSS). Here's the list of pokemon and the stones you get in return:
- Lickitung - Everstone
- Oddish - Leaf Stone
- Staryu - Water Stone
- Vulpix - Fire Stone (in SS, possibly Growlithe in HG)
- Pichu - Thunderstone
Is this information worth including in this article? --Oatzy 22:04, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- I had to show him a Jigglypuff to get an Everstone, not a Lickitung. Could it be because we're playing different versions? I'm using HeartGold. --Paranoid Trainer 23:30, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, probably is. I'm playing SoulSilver. Do you know if any of the others different?
- Well, Oddish and Pichu are definitely correct, and your Growlithe guess was on the money, but instead of a Staryu I'm being asked for a Marill. Or at least, the description matches Marill perfectly (round and blue, with a white belly and a floating tail end), but since I don't have one yet I can't confirm it yet. --Paranoid Trainer 00:05, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Sounds about right, yeah. What was the order he asked to see them in?--Oatzy 13:46, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

- I have HeartGold, and can confirm that he asks for the Oddish first. --AndyPKMN 15:06, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- I just confirmed Marill in HG. Oddish was first for me as well, followed by either Jigglypuff and Growlithe, and then the other. Sadly I can't recall with of them was second and which was third, but I'm almost certain Pichu was the 4th and Marill was definitely the last. --Paranoid Trainer 01:46, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- Haven't gotten the Water Stone part yet, but in HG for me, it was Oddish, Growlithe, Jigglypuff, Pichu. Satosuke 17:47, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

SS Anne ticket
Shouldn't this item be on the item list for R/B/Y and FR/LG? Moltres93 10:22, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Inclusion of Bill's Secret Garden rumour
I have added a section regarding the Bill's Secret Garden rumour. This is one of the most infamous rumours in Pokémon history, on par with the truck and Mewthree, and I believe this should remain in the article. To this day articles are written about this - see the following links: [1] [2] [3][4]. I genuinely think it cheapens the wiki not to mention the existence of this rumour, especially when it was seemingly referenced in the Generation IV games with the Trophy Garden, similar to how the truck had a hidden lava cookie added as a nod to the rumours in FRLG. --Poppy :3 12:53, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
- All those sites are clickbait sites on par with buzzfeed and does not make it "infamous". The Mew rumor is the most well known rumor of the three, while Mewthree is part of the Fakemon article, so I treat that as talking about "Mewthree the fakemon" and not "Mewthree the rumor". The "Secret Garden" is just not as well known as the other two.--ForceFire 13:49, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
- Since you seem keen to ignore how widespread and well-known this rumour is, I have compiled a (non-exhaustive) mentions of the rumour, which you can see below. Several of these include people still spreading the rumour more than 20 years later, so it's almost negligent not to mention it on the premier Pokémon wiki.
- You can call literally anything clickbait these days because the standard of news has degraded exceptionally, but I'm honestly not sure what you're expecting with regards to Pokémon. Most traditional news sources give incorrect details about Pokémon anyway because they don't care enough to cover it properly. A bunch of those sites which have posted articles (TechRadar, GamesRadar, Syfy, Screenrant, Den of Geek, Destructoid) are very well-known sites. With the combination of those articles you would pass Wikipedia's notability standards, and they have come down hard on this kind of thing.
- The Bill's Secret Garden is notorious, long-lived, well-documented, and still being spread to this day. It is notable enough for this wiki, and that will be the case regardless of what you say, because your opinion on this matter is blatantly counterfactual. As such, I am reversing your removal of the Secret Garden rumour. --Poppy :3 14:31, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
- Sources.
- Firstly, please do just add back the information without a consensus. Wait until this discussion has reached a conclusion. Don't just add it back.
- Secondly, all your "evidence" isn't reliable. Especially fan related stuff... so everything but the articles. And the articles, like I said, are clickbait stuff like "ooooh, the ten thing you didn't know about Pokemon ooooh". Those articles are not reliable at all, they are opinion pieces. They may be acceptable on Wikipedia, though I don't think they are, but we are not Wikipedia. Just because we're both wikis doesn't mean we share the same rules and standards.
- Thirdly, The mew rumor is far more notorious and popular than the sea cottage rumor. It has also been blatantly referenced in the games. The sea cottage rumor is just as minor as the Lavender town rumor.-ForceFire 14:56, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
- Please be aware that I consider it inapppropriate for you to have removed the sources that I posted, especially as doing so supports your own position. It is a serious breach of wiki etiquette to remove another person's comments. Relegating the information to a link which could easily be missed vastly minimises the extent of discussion that the rumour has generated. If you have concerns about length there are better ways to deal with that, and archives do exist to clean up discussions. I cannot fairly have a discussion with a person who abuses their role to issue warnings to people who disagree with them when they themselves are the offending party. As such, I would politely request that you recuse yourself from this matter due to your conflict of interest, and allow another admin to comment instead. --Poppy Appletree 15:29, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
- As you yourself have confirmed your own violation of the talk page policy, I am restoring the list of sources I posted below. --Poppy Appletree 15:36, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
