Team Match (Japanese: チームマッチTeam Match) events are a type of competition in Pokémon Duel where players select one of three teams represented by figures and contribute to its success by earning Team Points from Time Boosters. Players may select their team during the event or preregister in the days leading up to it by selecting special icons on the home screen. During the event an icon also allows current Team Match results to be viewed. Selecting a team causes the players home menu background to change to a series of team appropriate colors. League Match matchmaking is done between players of different teams with both players' teams being displayed before the duel. All Time Boosters and Enhancement Boosters obtained during the event open in half the time they usually require even if they are opened after the end of the event. In addition to the notable rewards listed below, the rewards also include various enhancement figures as well as gems.
Team Points (Japanese: チームポイントTeam Points) are obtained by opening Time Boosters during the event, this includes any Boosters acquired before it begins. The total Team Points earned by a team's players make up its final rank and players obtain rewards throughout the event as they earn more points.

Booster Enhancers
A Booster Enhancer
Booster Enhancers (Japanese: ) are used to increase the Team Points players earn from a Booster. Periodically during the event the teams' standings are calculated and multipliers are assigned to each one, with teams that are lagging behind in total points receiving larger multipliers. Boosters which have been enhanced have their Team Points multiplied by this factor. Enhancers can be both purchased and assigned to Boosters from a menu. In addition, players who preregister for the event receive additional Booster Enhancers, with players who select a team obtaining one and players who opt to be assigned to a team receiving three.

Team Ranking
By earning Team Points, players are also able to climb ranks within their team. At certain ranking milestones, the player obtains a Badge in their team's colors. This badge is displayed instead of the player's league icon in their statistics as well as during League Matches until the beginning of the next Team Match.

Trivia
Team Matches are similar to Conquests, Splatfests, Party Crashes and Voting Gauntlets, modes in other Nintendo online games where players influence a popularity poll through their results in the game.
