Elekid's anime call/cry

biribiri means "like an electric shock," which is where Voltorb (Biriridama) got part of its Japanese name.

In the anime it sounds like Elekid says biri biri. I could be mistaken, but if he does infact chant that, shouldn't it be mentioned? Yami 17:05, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Artwork

Shouldn't there be new artwork when HGSS came out?--FlyingSkymin23 22:45, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

I believe only those who did not have FRLG art received new artwork. —darklordtrom 05:00, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Coloration

In gen 2, the coloration is a lot like the reverse in later gens, with the normal in 2 being the shiny in 5, etc. Worth noting? - unsigned comment from Mpcamel1729 (talkcontribs)

Baby forms

Why in evolution table there is an arrow pointing on Elekid labeled "breed"? It makes sense for Baby Pokemon which can be created only via Incense but with all other babies, it works exactly the same way as a regular Pokemon line. In early generations, it made a little sense because babies were nowhere to catch and had a role learning moves their mature forms couldn't but it's all outdated now.--Rocket Grunt (Report To Me) 16:32, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

My guess is to indicate further that Elekid is a baby form and not just a regular first stage. --Celadonkey 17:55, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
Because if you breed two Electabuzz or Electivire, you get an Elekid. That's basically all that it's implying.--ForceFire 06:06, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
Exactly, it's the same as in all other regular Pokemon, right?--Rocket Grunt (Report To Me) 11:20, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
It's done specifically for baby Pokemon since some require incenses whereas others (including Elekid) don't. It's just how baby Pokemon work compared to other first stage evolutions. Ice Cream 13:32, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
I know it's done for Baby Pokemon, but this is not an explenation. There is no need to add this for Pokemon which aren't made from Incenses.--Rocket Grunt (Report To Me) 14:48, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
It probably isn't as clear as it should be but it gives an implication that they're baby Pokemon without needing incenses. Ice Cream 15:47, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
