Welcome to Bulbapedia, Pikachu210!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Grammar

Hello, thank you for your edit here. However, please note that when you add to an article, you should use proper grammar, such as capitalizing names and proper nouns. Ataro (talk) 20:14, 20 May 2018 (UTC)

You started the line with "You can't" and put "It's a privilege" in the same line. That's not proper grammar. "Can't" means what is impossible. Proper grammar would be "may not." - unsigned comment from Pikachu210 (talkcontribs)

Talk page policy

DO NOT respond to discussions that have been inactive for a long time. It's useless to get a response in that topic. If you want to start a discussion, create a brand-new section in the talk page so you'll be even more guaranteed to get a response. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:20, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

Please do not respond to discussions that have been inactive for a long time. You're not going to get a response that way. If you want to start a new section in any talk page, use the + symbol, which will automatically start one for you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:16, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
Please use the + tab at the top of the talk page whenever you want to start a new section. It'll be much more useful than just editing at the bottom of the most recent section. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:20, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
This is going to be the last time I'll tell you this: PLEASE use the tab that reads "+" to create a brand-new section in the talk page. It's much more preferable here than just editing the most recent existing section. You can find the + tab at the top of any given talk page. If you have any questions, please contact me or someone else. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:31, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
Also, whenever you make a new message, always indent it, like what I'm doing. You can accomplish this by using as many of the : symbol as needed. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:57, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

Talk pages

Talk pages are for suggesting improvements to an article, not small speculative discussions about Pikachu's level. If you want to talk about that stuff, you can go to the forums. Thank you.--ForceFire 16:43, 13 November 2018 (UTC)

The forums are not for small speculative discussions about Pikachu's level.Pikachu210 (talk) 16:45, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
Please take the message seriously. If you are not here to contribute to the wiki, then you should spend your time elsewhere.--ForceFire 16:49, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
I have gone to the forums, but forums are for large discussions, not small ones.Pikachu210 (talk) 16:56, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
The forums are for all kinds of discussion that does not contribute to the wiki.--ForceFire 16:58, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
I made a forum thread for ash's pikachu's level, but I won't get any replies. If I do get a reply,it will probably be telling me that it doesn't belong there. Pikachu210 (talk) 17:00, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
That just means no one is interested in the topic. Also, please make more mainspace edits. You've only made six mainspace edits, your last one coming from May.--ForceFire 06:35, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

Signature policy

Please do not forget to sign your posts with four tildes (~). You've been doing great before on that; what changed. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:55, 22 December 2018 (UTC)

Another talk page policy

It seems like you're manually editing talk pages to create brand-new discussion sections. Please don't do that. Instead, you should use the + sign at the top of any talk page. It will automatically create a brand-new section for you. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:57, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

Also, please don't remove discussions from talk pages. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:36, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
And if Force Fire's response is anything to go by, you shouldn't be using the talk pages to prove a point. Please be mindful of your conduct when you're posting on talk pages, please. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:18, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

Huh?

Are you trying to troll right now? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:15, 12 September 2019 (UTC)

if using a fake word counts as trolling. Pikachu210 (talk) 05:24, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
You're disagreeing with something you were trying to suggest. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:42, 12 September 2019 (UTC)

Baby Pokémon content removal

Why'd you even remove all of that content? There was absolutely no basis for that. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:18, 13 September 2019 (UTC)

Talk page policy reiterated

Just like you did here, you're still not using the + sign at the top of your screen to start new talk page sections. Please do so. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:29, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

Falkner trivia

Thank you for following my instructions, but you really need to stop posting on talk pages and do more on the actual pages. It's alright for you to go ahead and post what you think is relevant on the Falkner article or whatever article you want to edit. Others will proofread for you if necessary or revert it if needs be. Discussing it on the talk page becomes appropriate then. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:08, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

Talk page policy, again

If you see an error in an article, just remove it yourself. You don't really have to go to the talk page and alert other users to it. Talk pages aren't for trivial things like that. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:16, 29 September 2019 (UTC)

Talk page policy, yet again

Please do not post personal, miscellaneous comments like these to the talk page. Those are better suited for the Bulbawiki Forum. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:02, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

Once again you did what I advised you not to do. Please use the forums instead for that kind of talk. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:48, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
That's not even small speculative discussion or personal information, as the first town has been revealed. also, never post personal, miscellaneous comments in the Bulbawiki Forum. Pikachu210 (talk) 03:53, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
First off, this and the Bulbawiki Forum are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. Please get your facts in order. Second, casual comments count under that umbrella. Third, the town you mention was shown at a Gamescom convention earlier this year, so...pointless comment is pointless. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:56, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
There is no such thing as the Bulbawiki Forum, which is somewhere you don't put personal, miscellaneous comments. Pikachu210 (talk) 04:08, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
Okay...are you trolling right now? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:11, 13 October 2019 (UTC)

Couple of things

Please don't add trivia about a move being the last/first in the index of moves of a generation, it's not that important. Secondly, please take any speculative or casual conversations to the forums, as I've already told you. You saying that there is no forums or the implications that you do not know of the forums are false, as I've already linked you to the forums in our discussion above. Here is the link in case you missed it. If you continue to use the talk page for starting casual conversations, you risk getting blocked. Thank you.--ForceFire 04:48, 13 October 2019 (UTC)

but some moves like Pound and Struggle already had such information. Pikachu210 (talk) 14:45, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
Then I guess those will be removed as well. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:39, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

One more time

Please, please, PLEASE don't use the talk pages to leave behind casual comments such as these. If you're confused about the meaning of a certain phrase, look it up on Google. It's that easy. Don't ask here. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:52, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

What the phrase was trying to say in context wasn't entirely clear. I think it was a perfectly reasonable question. --SnorlaxMonster 23:51, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
It seems like a redundant question to me. I don't see any other context besides simply asking out of curiosity. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:53, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

Scyther edit

What exactly was it you were trying to do here? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:50, 31 October 2019 (UTC)

Pound's Japanese name translates to Strike. Pikachu210 (talk) 03:51, 31 October 2019 (UTC)
But the disambiguation is needless. No one will be looking for Scyther by their Japanese name. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:54, 31 October 2019 (UTC)
Well, there's a disambiguation page for Sleep and has both Drowzee and Rest - unsigned comment from Pikachu210 (talkcontribs)
But Sleep is its own disambiguation article. You don't need that for both the Pokémon and the move. Also, please don't forget to sign your posts. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:58, 31 October 2019 (UTC)

Ally Switch

Hey. I wanted to discuss the Ally Switch being a sig move (just not over the edits of the page). Cut is considered a sig move of Kartana despite being a HM, and TM Secret Power with Audino. The important part is being the only Pokémon to learn them through leveling up. Unless there are any other reasons not to add it, it should be part of the page.
