Release information
This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art card, and as a Secret card in the Rebel Clash expansion, first released in the Japanese VMAX Rising subset. The Regular print features artwork by Yusuke Ohmura, while the Full Art and Secret prints feature artwork by Naoki Saito. The Regular print was reprinted in the Japanese Grimmsnarl VMAX Starter Set. A Mirror Holofoil S-P Promotional version of the Regular print was intended to be awarded to winners of New Battle events held at participating Pokémon Card Gym venues across Japan, which typically feature different formats each month. Events that were scheduled to be held between March 6 and April 23, 2020 would have required players to use Standard-regulation decks including at least 4 Pokémon from the Rebellion Crash expansion, while those scheduled to be held between April 24 and June 4, 2020 would have required the use of at least 4 Pokémon from the Explosive Walker subset. New Battle events were among those to be canceled in a statement published on the official Japanese Pokémon Card Game website due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, it is evident venues still received the prize packages from The Pokémon Company, hence its external knowledge, and that some venues still distributed the card in some way.
