You can rematch the Gym Leaders as often as you want as long as its still during the time they are taking calls, in the same day! I don't know where to post this, however... FusionWarrior 23:30, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Splitting the article

No idea if there's a notice or anything, but I think it'd be a good idea to split the article.. specifically the HGSS rematches, since it loads like.. what, 116 additional images? The Match Place doesn't have this problem since it hasn't appeared in any other game (only Platinum) and doesn't have much to say except for the rematches, but... this is something more like Blue's situation, imo. I propose making a separate articles for the trainers you face in the different Generations. One article for Gen1, one for Gen3, and one for Gen4. - Takoto 19:01, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
Gen I/III would be pointless, though... I mean, both are pretty tiny sections as-is. IV is huge though. D: ▫▪Ťïňắ 19:10, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
Fair call, Tina. I'd be fine with splitting off the Generation IV section. —darklordtrom 22:59, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Team templates

Shouldn't they be hidden? They're stretching out the page. J-J-M 18:13, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

Those templates are normally collapsed - but are expanded when you're viewing a past revision of the page. You may have been viewing an older revision. —darklordtrom 19:46, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
I belive he mean {{trainerheader}} and {{trainerentry}} templates (those used for second generation). And they are stretching alright. --ЫъГЬ 05:36, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
You mean first and third generations? (There are no battles here in the second generation.) I see no stretching :/ —darklordtrom 20:29, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Magikarp in the dojo

If you fish in the base of the statue, a magikarp will bite! That should be added there in the pokemon section on gen i.- Ayyoob45

Icirrus Gym Black 2/White 2 question

I made a notice of the reference from Black/White in the Icirrus Gym. I'm playing White myself, so I'm not really sure if it's that way in Black too. Can anyone check? He just says it after being defeated, so that should be easy to see post-game. - unsigned comment from TeudowEthan (talkcontribs)

There are no trainers in Icirrus Gym in B2W2. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 20:37, 11 March 2014 (UTC)

Items held by trainers' Pokemon

I have not tested each Pokemon from each trainer but at least one from all 4 black belt trainers I have fought in Fire Red had a black belt item I stole with thief. I don't want to get into any trouble but this may need to be revised by anyone who is more knowledgeable about how to change the page and site the source or whatever needs doing to make it official.--AlphonseMorgan (talk) 19:40, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

Scrolls

In Pokemon Yellow the scrolls say what the page has written down for Gen II rather than what it has for Gen I. SirOni (talk) 11:55, 15 August 2015 (UTC)Sironi

Splitting the Gen IV trainers part two

This takes up a good portion of the article and is very hard to scroll through. Normally I wouldn't be for such a change, but given content from LGPE is underneath this wall of content, This situation ended up worse. The Gen IV rematches should be placed in a subpage as to not clog the article. CoolMan6001 (talk) 18:43, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

I will never understand the splitting spree that is going on here lately. We aren't in the 90s, where everyone has dial-up connection and can't load long pages or risks paying a lot of money by viewing them. Chill out, seriously. --Maxim (talk) 18:55, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
My issue isn't loading the page. (Else this wouldn't be here) The issue I have is how it makes the article long and how the length of the rematch teams make it hard to see the LGPE section and other content below. CoolMan6001 (talk) 20:30, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
