Notes:
- "Road to Cerulean City: Leaving Mt. Moon" is also used during Professor Oak's speech at the start of Generation I games and their Generation III remakes.
- "Professor Oak's Laboratory" is also used by the Professor Oak's Pokémon Talk in the Pokégear.
- In Generation I, the music theme of Route 17 cannot be legitimately heard, because the Bicycle theme keeps playing as long as the player is riding the Bicycle, which is mandatory on the Cycling Road. This route is programmed to play the "Road to Cerulean City: Leaving Mt. Moon" theme, like several other routes in the game. This is the theme played on the adjacent routes 16 and 18, which can be heard if the player is outside the Cycling Road.
